LA Stop Solitary Campaign: Regional Meeting Registration
Voice of the Experienced (VOTE) will host four regional planning meetings in Louisiana to engage survivors of solitary in envisioning a campaign to bring about the end of solitary confinement in prisons and jails. At each planning meeting, we hope that solitary survivors will share their stories and help develop strategies to change this practice in Louisiana. Each meeting will be from 6-8pm, light refreshments provided, and VOTE intends to provide child care and a $25 stipend (gift card) for those that register by August 15th. We will email you confirmation of your registration, with location of where the meeting will be held, by September 1st. Please call or email Robert Goodman (214.714.0674, robert@vote-nola.org) or Vanessa Spinazola (504.208.0584, vspinazola@gmail.com) with any additional questions.
