I would like to register for Raising Resilient Children at the Gravenhurst Public Library on Tuesday November 13th from 5:45 - 7:45 pm. *
This seminar focuses on helping children learn emotion regulation skills. Parents are often uncertain about how to respond to children’s expression of emotion in ways that help children learn to manage their feelings. We will also discuss how to help children recognize and accept feelings, express their feeling appropriately, build positive feelings, deal with negative feelings, develop coping skills, and deal with upsetting or stressful life events.
I would like to register for Raising Confident, Competent Children at the Bracebridge Public Library on Tuesday November 27th from 5:45 - 7:45 pm *
This seminar shows parents how they can use positive parenting principles to teach children important values and skills, including encouraging respect, cooperation, getting on with others, learning to be independent, to develop healthy self-esteem and to become good problem solvers.
