Redevelopment Coming to the Hop In Site

Many Montlake neighbors were disappointed and frustrated when WSDOT demolished the grocery store at the intersection E Roanoke St and Montlake Blvd to make way for 520 construction staging.

The store which went by many names over the years (Super Foods, Hop In, Montlake Market) was an important community asset.

Now WSDOT is selling the property for redevelopment as affordable housing.
