  • Time: 11:30am - 4pm

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! PLEASE READ FAMU VENDOR REQUIREMENTS BELOW!!

To ensure a smooth and successful event, all vendors selling products and/or services must provide the following documentation. We have streamlined the process to make it as simple as possible for you.

** Required Documents
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance (See Insurance Requirements below)
  • Occupational License (or Business Tax Receipt)
  • Health Department Certificate (Food vendors only)
** Insurance Requirements: A Simple 3-Step Process

Your insurance policy must meet a few key requirements to comply with the university's regulations.

1. Meet the Coverage Amount: Your commercial general liability insurance policy must provide coverage of at least $1,000,000.

2. Add FAMU as an Additional Insured: This is a standard procedure that your insurance agent or broker can easily complete. It means that Florida A&M University is also covered under your policy for activities related to the festival.
  • Step 1: Contact Your Insurance Agent. Reach out to the agent who manages your current business or vendor liability policy.
  • Step 2: Request the Addition. Ask your agent to add the following entity as "Additional Insured" on your Certificate of Liability Insurance: Florida A&M University Board of Trustees
  • Step 3: Submit the Certificate. Once your agent has updated your certificate, send a copy directly to us with the rest of your vendor application documents.
We understand that paperwork can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for small businesses. Please know that the process of adding "Additional Insured" is a quick and routine request for your insurance agent, often costing less than $100. Our goal is to make your participation in the festival as easy as possible. If you have any questions or run into any issues at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly—we are happy to walk you through the steps!
