PTA Award
The PTA Award was proposed by the VPTA Physical Therapist Assistant Special Interest Group (PTA SIG), and the first award was presented to a physical therapist assistant at the VPTA Annual Conference in April of 1992.

Purpose: To recognize physical therapist assistants who have made an outstanding contribution to clinical practice and to the physical therapist assistants' development through VPTA participation.

Eligibility: VPTA PTA members not currently serving on the Board of Directors or the Awards Committee. Self-nominations are not permitted.

Award Minimum: Certificate
