The Choir School of Grace Church in Newark is a tuition-free music program for children grades 3-12. Under the direction of Emmanuel Bonilla-Acosta, our Choristers meet for rehearsal Tuesday and Thursday evening during the school year from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in preparation for a twice-per-month Sunday performance. Our Choristers come from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. All are welcome to learn to sing, make new friends, and find their voice, no matter your religious affiliation. A small stipend is given to each Chorister on a quarterly basis.
