Greetings!

KowTeff is proud to announce our 16th Annual Juneteenth Celebration! The event will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 12PM-8PM at Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza in the heart of Brooklyn. It will take place shortly after the Juneteenth holiday (June 19th), the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the U.S. This year marks a truly special milestone as we celebrate KowTeff's 35th Anniversary!

The celebration will take place in the outdoor plaza, a lively gathering space that connects our vendors with both festival attendees and the vibrant energy of Fulton Street. Each year, the festival brings out community members and visitors of all ages for cultural performances, the signature House Music and Dance Celebration with DJ Juwandi, African diasporic dance classes, children’s activities, wellness resources, and the African Marketplace—all free and open to the public.

We invite you to participate in our African Marketplace with opportunities for selling, exhibiting, demonstrating, and advertising products, services, and information. The African marketplace throughout the African Diaspora has historically served as an economic, social, and political hub for the community.  Our Juneteenth African marketplace is aimed at increasing the visibility and sustainability of businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations within the New York City community.  In addition to promoting your product, service, or information, your support will assist KowTeff in preserving and perpetuating the diverse culture and folklore of the African Diaspora and ensuring that it remains accessible to all.

If you are interested in vending at our Juneteenth African Marketplace, please complete the below application and submit payment on-line through PayPal (www.paypal.me/kowteff) or Zelle (KowTeff School of African Dance – 347-232-7834). Spaces are limited. Register early to secure your spot!

All Vendor Agreement Forms and on-line payments must be received no later than June 17, 2026. Thank you for your support!
