UPDATE 8/2/24: Weekend 2 is now also at capacity but the waitlist for both weekends are open in the event any registered participants cancel.
UPDATE 7/23/24: Because of popular demand, we have added a second weekend with 34 spots for September 20 - September 22, 2024. Participants interested in signing up are encouraged to do so, and participants on the waitlist for trip #1 will have priority registration for the second outing. By registering for Weekend 2, individuals may no longer remain on the waitlist for Weekend 1. Participants can choose to stay on the Weekend 1 waitlist instead of registering for Weekend 2 (no notification needed).
Situated on an island of 43 rocky woodland acres, Three Mile Island Camp (TMI) offers a delightful recreational experience in the heart of New Hampshire's lake district. Participants will enjoy a weekend of canoeing, kayaking, sitting by cabins and camp fires, playing games, and having a grand ole time! A couple of ‘led’ activities will be offered but mostly this will be an unstructured weekend to socialize, swim/paddle/walk, and relax! Sleeping consists of quaint 2-person cabins each equipped with a little dock right on the water’s edge. Wake up to the sounds of loons and beautiful sunrises! Delicious meals will be provided and are served family style in a warm, social atmosphere. Participants must arrive at the loading dock on Friday for either the 5pm or 8:30pm departure for a short boat trip to the island. Sunday's return ferry will depart at 1pm. No exceptions!
This is a great trip for folks new to AMC 20s & 30s as well as those who are already active with the group. There are no prerequisites for coming on this trip.
Waitlisted individuals from Weekend 1 (see original posting here) will be given first priority to register and confirm payment for Weekend 2 until Monday, July 29, 2024. After, the remaining cabins will be opened to waitlisted individuals without an AMC membership. TMI Weekend 2 will then be opened for general registration.
