So you might wanna come share your wisdom? Summer 26' In Sweden
This is a fascinating offering that we are exploring. We as a team need to discuss it a bit more deeply to see how logistically we want to support this role.

So the frame of Community Lab, is that we'll be a constellation of camps that range from about 6 - 12 people per camp and each camp will be in charge of their own "camp time curriculum". It might be that one camp organizer wants to host a training in natural building and wants to look for someone with that knowledge (that could be you) and then recruit a group of camp mates to gather around that topic. It might be that a group of people coming as an already formed camp will also wanna do a training for themselves and will be looking for a trainer, and that could be you. Another option is that perhaps you feel drawn to a camp, but have some really valuable training content for all of Community Lab that you want to offer in a wider context. It might be that you want to be both a camp organizer and a teacher at the same time, simply bringing together people and teach them a course throughout part or all of the time spent at Community Lab.

One of the gifts of Community Lab is that there is space during certain days, where anyone can give and practice facilitate workshops or host learning spaces for anyone at the lab. What differentiates you from the other participants (aka: why you would submit interest here vs. as an "explorer") is that you might have deep knowledge in something and can offer a deeper training (at least a week but up to 3 weeks).
There's also an openness for workshop leaders / space holders to come short term, although it's a topic we still have up for discussion as it will mean more people coming in and out of this experience. We still welcome your application and will keep you posted as we go.

A Note on Camps
Camps can gather around specific themes or topics, like the one's below.

Some Potential Camp Themes (for inspiration of themes, obviously the camp names can be more creative and fun)
- Permaculture camp
- Movement Camp
- Natural Building Camp
- Conscious Communication Camp (Communicamp?)
- Nature Reconnection camp

or camps can gather around a group of people wanting to practice living together with specific visions and values. This might be living on an eco-village or designing a co-housing experience after community lab etc. In that case, a camp name would be a totally unique name to your group.

Your info will go into an excel document for camp organizers to see. If they want to have you as a facilitator, they will reach out to you! From there you can discuss and get clear on how exactly you can craft your offering and see if it's a right fit for this experience! If you find that you want to be part of Community Lab regardless of your offering, please also fill out an "explorer" form or a "camp organizer" form depending on what your longings are.

A note on authenticity, power dynamics and community:

It's amazing how powerful our ego can be in latching on to whatever we do and identify. Sometimes the world of teaching can ripe with ego traps. Self worth in my ability to teach, to hold space, to articulate or to "know things". We imagine that these things might come up during the community lab and wanna invite you to be as real, surrendered, vulnerable and authentic as you can be as you’re living with and collaborating with your camp mates.

Having said that,

Thank you for the time you took to study the things you love, so that you could share it with others and make the world a deeper, more loving place.

Looking forward to creating a new culture with you when the time is ripe.

With Love
The Co-Lab Team

Section 1: Some Simple Details

What's Your Name (What can we call you?)
What is the gift that you want to offer? Please share as much as possible so we can get a clear idea. We would love to hear the real passion that you have for whatever it is you want to share.
Would you want to pair with a camp organizer and build a training with them as the organizer and you as the lead facilitator (there could be other facilitators as well). This would be a training that would be integrated into community lab. Meaning we would give you time frames that you can design your training within, so that it would still be nested in the context of building community as a camp. This way your camp will still be a part of the larger community.
