PPS Nutrition Educators
The Nutrition Education Action Group for Food Fuels Learning is a network of caring and dedicated food security champions who work to ensure students at Portland Public Schools are nourished and thriving.
We need your help to better understand what nutrition education is being taught to students.
Our report "Food Fuels Learning: A PPS Food Security Needs Assessment" (available at
) found there is a serious lack of understanding of what nutrition education is taught throughout the district. We are working to create a Nutrition Education Map to better understand what is currently being done and ultimately create district-wide, comprehensive nutrition education curriculum. Your answers will help get us there.
