The Mothers' Day Movement (MDM) is committed to supporting projects that advance socioeconomic wellbeing, promote education and skill-building, and foster economic opportunities for mothers and their families both in the US and globally.
We focus on fundraising for nonprofits that empower and uplift mothers and their families. With over $34 billion spent on Mother’s Day in the United States in 2025, MDM advocates shifting gift-giving priorities by honoring a loved one with a donation that changes lives. Since 2011, we have raised over $1 million USD in women's health, infant and maternal mortality, education, clean water, and human trafficking.
MDM selects one beneficiary per year and 100% of the funds raised go directly to the selected beneficiary. The amount raised varies each year, with typical totals ranging from $35,000 to $50,000 USD.
