MVHS Summer Agriculture Interest & Info Form
The Summer Agriculture Program is an extension of Agriculture courses taught at MVHS and LJHS. You can earn up to .5 CTE Elective credit by setting a few goals, keeping records and having your advisor visit your project (virtually or in person!). We're here to help YOU get the most out of your summer projects, whether you want to do something new or already have something planned.
Earning credit is HIGHLY encouraged but NOT required to participate (in other words, if you meet the requirements you get the credit which shows up on your transcript as "Summer Agriculture" with a "Pass", but it will NOT ever show up as and "F" on your transcript if you don't meet the requirements!).
Activities and visits will be scheduled on various days between May 31 and August 13. You will get to decide which activities you attend. Filling out this form is not binding, it just lets Miss Baadsgaard and Mr. Williams know that you want to know what's going on!
Do you want/need to earn CTE elective credit towards graduation this summer by doing a project at home or work?
Yes! I'd like to work 90 hours to earn .5 credit towards graduation.
Yes! I'd like to work 45 hours to earn .25 credit towards graduation.
No, but I may still like to participate in activities and field trips so let me know what's going on!
No, I don't need credit and I'm not interested in knowing about the cool stuff that's happening all summer.
Personal Cell Phone Number (So Miss Baadsgaard and Mr. Williams can add you to the Summer Ag Remind group contact and let you know about the awesome activities and schedule virtual or in person project visits!)
Parent Cell Phone Number (so parents can be in the loop too!)
Can you receive text message reminders?
Would you like Miss Baadsgaard to schedule a specific time or just stop by for a visit when she is in the area?
Stop by when you're in the area! (this option helps us visit as many students as possible)
