MLSQ - Motivation
Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire

31 questions

This study motivation questionnaire is a self-assessment tool aimed at describing your orientation towards a motivated study within a specific university course you are attending. Made up of two sections, one on motivation and one on study strategies, the questionnaire was proposed by psychologist Paul Pintrich* in 1991 and is well known by universities around the world.

The evaluation of the questionnaire concerns a specific course you are following, but in general you can perceive the questions as addressed to the entire course of study.

Instructions: Use the scale below to answer the questions. If you think the statement is very true of you, circle 7; if a statement is not at all true of you, circle 1. If the statement is more or less true of you, find the number between 1 and 7 that best describes you.

Remember that there are no right or wrong answers, only truthful or untruthful answers. Please answer based on what really happens to you, rather than what you think should happen.
