Municipalities across the Baltic Sea Region face increasing climate‑related risks, from flooding and extreme precipitation to heat waves, erosion, and other hazards. At the same time, municipalities differ widely in their planning context, available data, organisational capacity, and support needs.
This survey is part of the ClimaResponse project and aims to better understand how municipalities in the Baltic Sea Region currently work with climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction—including planning practices, data and tools used, organisational capacity, and key barriers.
The survey is intended for municipal staff and officials involved in climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, spatial planning, environmental management, civil protection, or related functions at the local level.
Your responses will help us:
- Design a practical, needs‑driven digital platform for municipal climate adaptation work
- Identify where guidance, tools, data access, or capacity‑building can be most useful
- Ensure that the platform reflects Baltic Sea Region conditions, governance structures, and risks
The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. Most questions are multiple choice; a few open‑ended questions allow you to provide additional context.Your answers will be analysed at an aggregate level. Individual municipalities will not be identified in external reporting.
