Student Chapter Community Health Challenge Report
The Community Health Challenge is a project created by the NCPA National Student Leadership Council for student chapters to promote within their schools and colleges of pharmacy and implement in their communities. The project can be achieved through patient education, community outreach programs, and individual school competitions. Some examples include passing out relevant health information at health fairs, promoting health and wellness information through a local news channel, and having an internal health and wellness competition within your school.

Evaluation of chapter activities is based upon the criteria of education, implementation, outcomes and creativity and innovation. Please refer to the Community Health Challenge grading rubric for specifics on the criteria listed. The Community Health Challenge grading rubric can be found at

Supplemental materials such as pictures, flyers, presentation slide decks and etc. may be emailed to You are encouraged to upload photos to the NCPA Student Network group page on Facebook. These materials will only be used for grading purposes in the chance of a tie. Additionally, these materials may be used to highlight innovative and progressive projects in America's Pharmacist, the NCPA student website, or in the NCPA monthly student e-Newsletter. Photos submitted in .jpg format are encouraged.

Final reports should be sent electronically to by June 5, 2018. Please be as accurate as possible and answer all questions with honesty and integrity. Challenge Reports must be email time stamped by 11:59 PM Eastern on June 5, 2018. Only one application will be accepted per chapter. The winner will receive $250 for the NCPA student chapter, which will be presented at the NCPA Foundation Awards Ceremony at the NCPA Annual Convention.
