I agree with the Board of Alders and Mayor Elicker that we face a climate emergency that has already damaged global ecosystems and communities. I support creating a new set aside fund to significantly increase City leadership in confronting this accelerating crisis. I also support a small tax increase to invest in greenhouse gas reduction projects that create green jobs for New Haveners, improve public health, reduce energy costs, and improve alternative transportation options.
