HOPE Holiday Shop 2016 Sign-Up (Deadline extended!)
This holiday season make a child smile by making small dreams become a reality. Through the HOPE Holiday Shop, you can help sponsor a local child whose family cannot afford to buy presents. The Middlebury College Center for Community Engagement collaborates with the local organization H.O.P.E. (Helping Overcome Poverty’s Effects) to help provide presents around the holidays. You can help by bringing your unwrapped gifts to the Center for Community Engagement (20 Old Chapel Road - the DKE House next to Axinn) from Wednesday, November 30 to Friday, December 9 between 9 and 5 P.M. Be sure to sign in when delivering your gifts so we know who has delivered gifts and their estimated value.
Thanks so much for your participation! ***NOTE: Once you sign up through this online form, gift suggestions for the age range you've chosen will appear at the end of the form. Because HOPE has switched to a "holiday shop" system where parents come pick out gifts for their children from all the donations received, we no longer e-mail you to follow up with specific "giving tree" assignments. You are free to purchase anything from the suggested list for the age range you've selected. Feel free to reach out to emcdonald@middlebury.edu with questions!
