Dual Enrollment offers high school students the opportunity to enroll in college courses and receive college credit while pursuing their high school diploma. Courses are offered in a variety of disciplines and fields including general education and career pathway courses that align with local industry.
Non-CCAP Dual Enrollment courses are offered to 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade students. These courses are not offered through HHS. Courses may be on campus or in person depending on student's goals. Please note that some courses may have prerequisite. Some courses may have age restrictions and cannot be taken while in high school. It is important for students to do their research. Students are limited to 11 units for Fall/Spring terms.
Students must submit an official transcript to HHS for non-CCAP courses to be added to their transcript.
Cost Reminder:
Non-CCAP Courses have no tuition cost. However, students are responsible to pay for any supply/textbook fees that the course may require. VVC charges $23 a semester in student fees that must be paid prior to the start of the semester or you will get dropped from your class. Chaffey charges around the same price. Students can pay the $23 fee in their College Self Service Account. HHS does not assist with Non-CCAP fees as they are not part of our partnership program.
Registration Reminder:
HHS does not register students in Non-CCAP Courses. Students who are approved to take a course must complete the self-registration process through their community college portal. Students are also responsible to withdraw themselves from a course by the withdrawal date if they are unable to complete the course. HHS does not monitor Non-CCAP Course completion.
Transcripts:
In order for a Non-CCAP Course to be posted on your high school transcript, students must send an official copy at the end of their college term via Parchment. Students can request their official transcript via their college student portal. There is a fee to send your official transcript that varies by college.
Once you complete this form, please allow 3-5 business days for the Career Center to reach out.
