SWHS Lakers Cheer Final Tryout Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in joining the SWHS Lakers Cheer Sideline and/or Competition Team. This form is for incoming 7th grade - 12th grade athletes.

Prior to attending the final tryout event on Tuesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 4, all parents/guardians MUST complete the information below.

*7th grade is allowed to cheer sideline ONLY!
*Please note that 8-12th grade cheer athletes are not assured of being on the Competition Team until after tryouts are completed and the Competition Team is selected. If you are selected to join the Competition Team, you MUST participate on both the fall and winter sideline team.

Beginning Thursday, August 28, MANDATORY fall season practice for sideline only is Tuesday and Thursday 3:30pm-4:30pm.

Do you have any activities that would prevent you from attending cheer practice (Tuesday/Thursday after school), football and basketball sideline performances (home games TBA) and/or competitions?

Expected Cheer Expenses by Month:
AUGUST 15, 2025:
Fall Booster Fee: $150
Choreographer Camp: $220 (competition team)
Fall Sports Participation Fee: $75 to SWHS AD ($25 to athletes receiving educational benefits)

MID-SEPTEMBER:
Cheer apparel order: $110 for mandatory gear + chosen options

November 3, 2025:
Winter Booster Fee: $200 (competition team only)
Winter Sports Participation Fee: $75 to SWHS AD ($25 to athletes receiving educational benefits)
