Interaction Study Sign Up
This two-part study includes a pre-lab survey and an in-lab session at Brandeis University in Waltham. The purpose of this study is to examine the physiological and neurological processes underlying social interactions.

For the pre-lab survey, you will be asked to answer a series of questionnaires, assessing various personal traits and opinions. This survey should take about 20-30 minutes to fill out.

During the in-lab session, you will be asked to interact with another participant to complete tasks that require coordination and sharing personal experiences. Afterwards, you will also be asked to fill in a couple of questionnaires regarding your interaction experience.

During most of these tasks, we will be recording your brain activity and physiological activity using electroencephalography (EEG) and small electrodes taped to your wrist.

During the EEG recording, you will be wearing an electrode cap, which is similar to a swimming cap. A small amount of electro-conductive gel will be applied to your hair. After the experiment, you will be provided with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and styling implements to wash and dry your hair.

The in-lab session will take 3 hours to complete. You will be compensated with $45 with potential transportation reimbursement up to $13 with receipts. Please email, or call 781-736-3292 if you have any questions.

All your personal information will only view by research assistants in our lab.
