Judging at Region VII NHD Contest

The 2020 National History Day competition at Missouri State University is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 6th at the Plaster Student Union on campus. The History Department at MSU is looking for historians, educators, and other qualified members of the community to support the faculty in judging student projects. Students grade 6 through 12 compete in the junior and senior divisions and present their historical findings in five separate categories.

We will begin with a judging orientation at 8.15 AM on March 6, followed by breakfast. Judging begins at 9.00 AM and will end at approximately 11.30 AM. Lunch will be provided at that time. The Award ceremony is held in the afternoon, from 1.30 to 3.30 PM. You are welcome to attend if you wish.

To sign up to judge, please complete this short survey in its entirety. It will help us to understand your judging preferences. I will forward important information about judging two weeks prior to our event.

Thank you for sharing your expertise with our students.
