Brewer & Bristow Training - MITI Fidelity Coding Training Series Registration

A 16-hour, 4-part interactive online series walking participants through use of the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity 4.2.1 Coding Manual ("the MITI") for fidelity coding of audio recordings. We’ll also practice providing helpful and MI-consistent coding feedback for MI learners and discuss ways to grow in coding proficiency and reliability. www.brewerbristow.com/calendar/wintermiti

Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this series, participants will:

Know the major components of the coding process using the MITI 4.2.1 coding system, including assessing globals, parsing utterances, and behavior counts.

Know the major components of providing MITI 4.2.1 coding feedback in a coaching style consistent with MI.

Understand the importance of coding practice with and without transcripts and developing inter-coder reliability for effective use of the MITI 4.2.1

Be able to code recorded samples of Motivational Interviewing sessions for MI fidelity. 

Be able to provide feedback on coded MI skills in a coaching style consistent with MI.

Winter B&B MITI Training:
December 4th, 5th, 18th & 19th at 9:00am-1:00pm ET/US
