The purpose of the mid-semester design review is to inform the audience of the project goals, specifications, and design plan for completing a prototype by the end of the semester. Tradeoffs between alternative approaches for key technical considerations must be presented.

Basic progress in executing the prototype design (all of the design/planning for the prototype should be finished, with progress on implementing some of the prototype subsystems evident through visual evidence or test data)

(10 points) Communication *

Well-organized material, with a dedicated introduction/overview and conclusion; confident, well-rehearsed conveyance of the material; effective teaming/transitions and wise use of time; attractively designed slides and graphics.
