SPS aims to ensure both students and parents are informed about expected behavior on the bus to uphold safe driving conditions. Student conduct directly impacts bus safety, making it crucial to adhere to bus rules for a secure and pleasant journey to and from school. Recognizing that the bus serves as an extension of the classroom, behavioral expectations mirror those in the school setting.
Bus riding is a privilege granted to eligible individuals, not an inherent right. The safe operation of school vehicles is governed by administrative rules outlined in the Bussing Procedures and Rules Document. Students found violating these regulations may face revocation or suspension of their riding privileges, with parents held responsible for any damage caused by their children to transportation vehicles or equipment. No Fee Refunds will be provided if students lose their bus privilege because of misbehavior.
