Colorado Department of Education is providing Colorado K-12 educators with access to professional development on evidence-informed mathematics instruction. Developed for elementary and secondary educators, this 14-module online course can be done at each individual's own pace and timing. Created as part of Colorado House Bill 23-1231 (
https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb23-1231), the course, Powerful Practice: Evidence-Informed Math Teaching, is available for a 12 month period at no-cost to Colorado educators and aims to improve outcomes in mathematics for all students,
especially those at greatest risk of not reaching grade-level proficiency in mathematics. To learn more about course content, visit https://www.cde.state.co.us/comath/onlinepd.
*A certificate of completion is provided to participants in addition to an option to complete the course for graduate credit.
