Come volunteer, run a hands-on activity, or/and showcase the work that is happening in your classroom or school site at our district's annual STEAM Expo at Mission College!
Projects can be done by individual students, groups of students, a classroom, a grade-level, an entire school-site, or even a teacher. The most important part is showcase the wonderful STEAM work at the Expo. Please only fill out one form per project.
STEAM Expo Project Ideas:
STEAM Expo projects can be based one or more area of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math. Participants may have or may create an invention to solve a problem, do a science experiment, study a new area of math, create a computer program, draw/paint a beautiful piece of art, photography, design a building, create a new mode of transportation, learn about renewable energy…there are loads of possibilities! And don't forget, anything created and developed on a Chromebook would absolutely qualify.
Here are only a FEW example ideas:
Teacher and students will share their projects at Mission College during the SCUSD STEAM Expo on Saturday, March 28th from 10am-3pm. Completed project materials need to be set up the night before on Friday, March 27th from 5pm-7pm.
The possibilities for STEAM work is vast so have fun, be creative, explore, and enjoy the process. We are excited to see you and what you have to bring to this year's STEAM Expo
