The Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Specialty Courts (TASC) encourages its members to consider serving on the TASC Board of Directors (BOD). TASC is committed to building a Board that reflects the diverse communities we serve throughout the state of Texas.

Declaration of Candidacy must be submitted by February 9, 2026.

As a member of the TASC BOD, you will represent the association, promote its mission and goals, and serve as a vital link between TASC and your local community. Board members help provide knowledge, guidance, and education that strengthen specialty courts across the state.

This year, elections will be held for the Executive Committee and the following board positions:

• Region 3 Director

• Region 5 Director

• Region 6 Director

• Region 7 Director

• Big 10 Director #3

• At-Large Director #1

Big 10 Director positions may be filled by a regular member working in a registered specialty court located in a Texas county with at least ten registered specialty courts. Currently, those counties include Bexar, Dallas, El Paso, and Harris.
