The G4C Student Challenge is a citywide competition that invites middle and high school students in Los Angeles to create games about issues impacting their communities.

- Live/work in Los Angeles area; able to commute to assigned school for in-class support.- Commit up to 1 hour per month from November - March - Facilitate up to five sessions (60 minutes /each)- Combination of in-person or online/virtual- Commit to 1 in-person classroom visit (at minimum)- At least one 30-minute phone call with Annenberg Tech and/or Annenberg Learner to provide feedback on the program and the mentor component.
(Optional) Attend Challenge events including (1) student Game Jams and (2) the end-of-program Awards Ceremony in June 2019. Exact dates TBD.
Mentors may be from any profession and any background that employs interactive digital design. Commercial game publishing experience not a requirement but strongly desired.
Mentors with experience working with teens in creative or technical fields are preferred.
