HORSE of the year -  Achieved a high level of success in any provincial, national, or international sanctioned competition in a recognized discipline, is used in any form of non-competitive activity (i.e. trail horse,therapeutic, school horse, etc.), or has made an impact in someone’s life.
PONY of the year - Achieved a high level of success in any provincial, national, or international sanctioned competition in a recognized discipline, is used in any form of non-competitive activity (i.e. trail horse,therapeutic, school horse, etc.), or has made an impact in someone’s life.
Most Improved JUNIOR ENGLISH Rider - This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding growth and commitment in the sport, in the English discipline.
Most Improved SENIOR ENGLISH Rider - This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding growth and commitment in the sport, in the English discipline.
Most Improved JUNIOR WESTERN Rider - This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding growth and commitment in the sport, in the western discipline.
Most Improved SENIOR WESTERN Rider - This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding growth and commitment in the sport, in any the western discipline.
Equestrian Ambassador - This award recognizes an individual (senior or junior) who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to NL’s equestrian community and/or sport in any recognized discipline. This individual has gone above and beyond to make a difference in the equine community
Industry Builder - This award recognizes an equestrian business that has provided outstanding service/products to NL’s equine community.The service/products cannot be within the normal course of business practice, but must be over and above.
Coach/Instructor of the year - This award recognizes an Equestrian Canada certified coach/instructor whose dedication and skill has touched both human and equine athletes. This individual has a professional approach to rider education and and demonstrates commitment to continued equestrian learning.
