Strange Folk reviews enrollment submittals regularly around event announcements and on the 15th of every month. All candidates will be notified of addition to our invitation rolls, eligibility for re-review, or ineligibility for events on our roster. There is no fee to assess eligibility. If you are invited to participate in any of our 3 main events, you will have the opportunity to reserve your space immediately by paying a $75 portion of the vendor fee through the link to Square Market. Smaller markets and pop-ups may require the entire fee amount.
Reservation windows may vary, but ideally you will have 1 week or more to THROW DOWN, or at least let us know if you wish to throw down and need a bit more time to make the funds available.
Strange Folk is lowering vendor fees by over 20% in 2018. Our dozen-year-young annual festival over 3 days the last weekend of September will be $375, a rate of $19/operating hour. All other Strange Folk events in 2018 are $15-$17 per operating hour. Pop-up shops have a sub-$50 stocking fee, if any(based on location), and 30(shop)/70(vendor) commission.
