Email address *
What is Time to Talk?
Every few weeks on Tuesday nights from 7-8 pm, the nurse at Hillside has a program where there are PTA meetings for parents, or she meets with parents to discuss current events using the Time magazine as a basis for discussion. She wants us to help come up with activities & spend the hour with the parents’ kids, a “Kid’s Talk.”

Official PTA Meeting Dates:
10-09-2018, 11-13-2018, 01-15-2019, 03-12-2019, 04-02-2019, 05-14-2019, 06-11-2019

What would my responsibilities be?
For this event, we need 2-3 dedicated members to go to this event every time. As 1 of the 2-3 chairpeople of the Time to Talk committee, you will lead the Time to Talk "Kid's Talk" event throughout this service year & communicate with the Hillside nurse frequently as the LHS Key Club liaison. Your responsibilities would be to come up with an easy activity or discussion topic for children ~6-8 years old.

Key Points to Remember:
1) good interaction with elementary-age kids
2) sociability and creativity regarding activity ideas
3) availability to attend all events
4) coordination with fellow chairpeople so at least 2 go to each event
5) contact with the Hillside nurse as a club liaison
6) dedication and overall commitment

What does being a chairperson mean?
Being a Key Club chairperson includes you as a LHS Key Club board member in our committee system, where various committees focus on different areas or activities of the club (ex: CareOne Senior Center). You can use this opportunity to learn more about Key Club, explore leadership roles, form new connections, and see more about the board / internal workings of the club!
How should I apply? When is the deadline?
Apply by filling out this form! This form is due WEDNESDAY, 10/3, BY 8 AM. We will contact the final chosen chairpeople through email in the following few days in time for the first meeting on 10/9.
