CURRENT DEED: You will need the following information from the current deed:
1. Name(s) of the grantor(s) of the current deed.
2. Legal description of property (NOT the address). Example: "Lot 14 of Blackacre Addition to the City of Sacramento, as delineated on the map of said addition, recorded January 30, 1965, in Book 625, 013065."
If you do not have a copy of the current deed, you should obtain one from the County Recorder's office before you fill out this form. Most deeds are one to two pages and currently cost $1.00 per page.
