October marks three years since the launch of the DC Punk Archive project in 2014. We're planning our fourth series of programs to celebrate - find out more at dclibrary.org/punk

BASEMENT SHOWS WILL CONTINUE while the MLK Library is undergoing renovation! See dclibrary.org/mlkfuture for information on the project.

We are once again calling on local bands to fill out this Google Form and let us know why you want to play loud music in a public library - sssshhhh!
Bands are provided a stipend and free dinner.

Through this series we hope to continue to:
- Provide free exposure to great local bands and musicians
- Facilitate public discovery of and engagement with DC music
- Use a historic public space in an innovative way
- Support and generate interest in local music preservation projects

Continued support for the Library Basement Shows is provided by the DC Public Library Foundation, Friends of MLK Library and Smash Records.

Tell us about your band
