TIPS FOR A GREAT SENIOR QUOTE:
1. Be creative
2. Find something that fits your personality
3. Look for lyrics, poetry, lines from novels and short stories, too!
4. Keep it positive in nature
5. Try to limit to two lines
"Clarksburg Class of 20##" will appear beneath your name if a quote is not submitted or you submit a quote that breaks our agreement below.
Students must have a formal senior portrait to be included in the book.
Remember: yearbooks are forever. Your future employer might see this... so might someone's grandma...
What we will NOT ACCEPT for a senior quote:
- No slang or subliminal messages.
- Absolutely NO swearing - even swears that "aren't that bad." If you wouldn't say it on a job interview, it won't be printed.
- Timestamps of ANY kind from movies, music, TV shows, etc.
- Morse code, binary code, acronyms, symbols, emojis, random letters, etc.
- Special characters (they won't print)
- Random capitalized words that spell out another word when pieced together.
- Lines where capitalized words spell out another word when pieced together.
- Writing upside down messages
- Writing backwards messages.
- ANYTHING that is in ANY WAY suggestive, profane, defamatory, or prejudice against a person or group for ANY reason.
- ANYTHING that MIGHT be suggestive, profane, defamatory, or prejudice against a person or group, even in jest.
- Controversial or provocative content
- ANY references to violence or weapons, even words that have double meanings
- ANY words that can be triggering or are associated with triggering content
- Quotes from inappropriate or negatively controversial characters
If there is even a QUESTION, the quote will be removed without contact. If you submitted a quote and "Clarksburg High School Class of 2025" appears under your name, it is because your quote did not meet our criteria and you did not provide an acceptable back up.
