This is the forth session of Intercontinental Diplomatic Connect (IDC) former (Intercontinental Youth Connect Model United Nations (IYCMUN)) to be held in Lagos, Nigeria, 2025, following the success of IYCMUN1 in Johannesburg, South Africa 2022 and IYCMUN2 in Cape Town, South Africa 2023 and IYCMUN3 in Pretoria, South Africa 2024.

IDC is a more of a Diplomatic Conference following the United Nations Simulation held by Intercontinental Youth Connect (IYC) which  brings young people from around the world to learn and share ideas from a diverse set of experiences and backgrounds where all the attendees learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations.

IDC will be carrying different themes on each of its events. It will bring the conference to life through a number of dynamic committees, an exceptional array of speakers and beloved tradition of vibrant social events such as the gala dinner, social night, and cultural night. IDC aims to bring together many young people from all across the world to experience diplomacy in multiculturalism as well as to bring international delegates together by facilitating young leaders from different parts of the world to broaden their networks and to provide a platform where they may share their perspectives, particularly on Contemporary Issues that will be discussed in each council or committee. IDC aims to move from one continent to another, promoting youth travel and exposure, fighting discrimination and promoting togetherness and partnership by creating great leaders for the betterment of the world, nations and communities.

Eligibility
 - IDC welcomes all people (aged from 18 upwards) from all of nations who wants to gain experience in Model United Nations or who have high interest in learning how to be a diplomat in IDC.
- Those 15 years to 17 years can participate as well with close monitoring and a letter from parents and or school will be  should accompany their application stating an agreement that IYC is responsible for their upkeep during the conference. .
- All delegates must be any person who is willing to learn and contribute his/her thoughts in a diplomatic session be it  enrolled in High School or University, High school/ University graduates, enrolled in International Organizations/Institutions/Companies, or representative from High School or College, employed or unemployed and any one from diverse background is eligible.
- People with disabilities and from other diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. IDC do not discriminate based on disability.
- All matters regarding country allocation and council preference will be arranged from the decision of the IDC committee.
- IDC uses English as the main councils language, French and Portuguese will be considered after a minimum council number is met. So if from french and Portuguese speaking country, help spread the word,
