Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Glenview Library! It’s the best volunteer gig on campus. We have a part-time librarian but with almost 500 students, we rely on volunteers to keep the library running!

Library volunteer duties include:

Read books to classes (don’t like reading? No problem!)
Help kids find books in the library
Check out books to students/check-in returned books
Reading books with the youngest kiddos

Library volunteers sign up for a weekly or biweekly 60 or 90 minute shift. All training is provided and the librarian and other experienced volunteers will join you on your shift.
