The Michael Napoleone Memorial Foundation Community Youth Grant
The Michael Napoleone Memorial Foundation Community Youth Grant awards funding twice annually. This grant is awarded to charitable organizations whose primary mission is to facilitate youth activities for children up to age 18. It supports one of three mission priorities established by the foundation--”to assist youth organizations and youth athletics.”

Winter 2018 Funding Cycle:
o Applications released by November 16
o Applications due January 18
o Award notices sent by February 18

Scope of Applications:
There are no geographic limitations for recipients, but preference may be given to the Western New York region. Organizations may receive one grant annually. Requests for program ads will be directed to an annual grant cycle.

Please provide a concise statement, in letter form, as to the purpose of the organization and intention of the funding request, its significance or uniqueness in serving local youth and how it meets the foundation’s mission and carries on the Spirit of Michael. *
Despite chemotherapy, radiation, and long hospital stays; Michael chose to stay positive and loved to“just be a kid”. The spirit of Michael exemplifies: perseverance, determination, love of the game/activity, positive attitude (despite adversity).
