Event Production | Public Relations | Marketing Internship Application
This is a remote position where interns work from their USA-home base. The internship is a non-paid.
Interns can receive college credit. It is ideal for dedicated individuals who would like hands-on experience in event production/planning, marketing, and public relations. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, organized, go-getter to help us plan and execute our upcoming virtual events. We plan festivals, red carpet events, campaigns, conferences, workshops, panels, networking opportunities, and much more. This role offers the intern a great hands-on experience!

WHAT WE TEACH
Encouragement and Creativity.
-- We sharpen professional skills with a hands-on internship experience, which includes strengthening your communication with internal teams, strategy and creative thinking, writing skills, and time management.

Industry Knowledge.
-- We provide a wealth of knowledge within the event planning, marketing, and public relations industry.

Industry Skills.
-- We show interns how to use key industry-standard platforms like MailChimp, Canva, Microsoft Suite, RIPL, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Must be able to receive college credit or professional skill development as this is an unpaid internship
Must have interest in working in Event Planning, Marketing, and Public Relations
Must be available 2-3 days of the week, in a row, if possible
Must be a quick learner, team player, and collaborative worker
Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
Accuracy, productivity, and dependability are important attributes
Must have dependable internet access as all of the work and events will be done and hosted remotely
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be Detail Oriented
Must have a laptop or desktop computer (tablets do not apply) with Internet access, a computer camera, and microphone

MAIN PROJECTS (not limited to:)
Assist in the preparation and execution of virtual and in-person events
Assist in event registration and RSVP/guest lists.
Draft reports for event production as directed
Assist speakers, talents, vendors
Prepare pre-meeting and post-meeting notes
Creating social media posts
Updating weekly status reports for all clients
Creating targeted media lists with team direction
Drafting press releases and pitches
Assist in the research and drafting of emails
