With the dawn of World Space Week 2021, the global community is coming together to celebrate the women in space and their unique achievements that have paved the way for many renowned discoveries in the industry. With this thought, "World Space Week in Sri Lanka, 2021" a series of events organized by the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) University of Colombo Chapter, in collaboration with the SEDS Sri Lanka body is held in this week. One such event is a panel discussion organized by Magnetar Media, the Media Division of SEDS Sri Lanka, the SEDS Sri Lanka body ,and the SEDS University of Colombo Chapter.

As young girls and women, it is important to realize the importance of getting into STEM. Through this discussion with an eminent panel of guest speakers, we hope to motivate and inspire the current and future generations of female scientists to reach for the stars.
