TA Room Compliance - for all TA's who use Biology Classrooms

Guidelines for Teaching Assistants (TAs) Regarding the Use of Classrooms (2015, 2017, 2019, 2021):

  1. Dress Code Compliance: The classrooms are subject to a specific dress code, which includes wearing closed-toed shoes, and pants. It is essential that all TAs are aware of these regulations and are prepared to address non-compliance. TAs should be ready to enforce these rules, including escorting non-compliant students out of the classroom if necessary.
  2. Security of Classroom Supplies: Certain supplies, such as microscopes, hot plates, goggles, and comparative physiology materials, are not secured within the classrooms. TAs are responsible for ensuring the security of these items and overseeing student behavior to prevent misuse or loss of equipment.
  3. No food and drinks are allowed within the classrooms.

Please ensure that you adhere to these guidelines and communicate them effectively to all students.
