Kent Steel Dragons (intermediate youth steel band) Registration
Enroll here for our intermediate "Steel Dragons" youth steel band classes in Kent.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:40 to 4:40 p.m., beginning Tuesday, September 29th, and the program is continuous (with holiday gaps and a generous winter break) through mid-late June. The location of classes is Zion Lutheran Church, 25105 132nd Ave SE, Kent, WA.

This class is by invitation or audition only, but we welcome most kids of the target age who have musical experience and maturity at the middle school level. The target age group is 7th and 8th graders, but some exceptions are made for very talented and mature 6th graders, as well as older beginners who need some experience before auditioning for the advanced group. Email the director ( with any questions.

Tuition for this class is $70 per month, collected October through June (or $210 for Fall and $420 for winter/spring).

Among other events, we plan a single overnight trip for this group (along with their Edmonds counterparts) for an out-of-town performance near the end of the school year. The cost for this will not exceed $125, and will likely be less. If there is no schedule conflict, will you allow your child to go on this trip?
