Adinkra symbols originate from the Akan people of Ghana. These symbols often represent concepts, aphorisms, or the natural world, and they are frequently used in fabrics, pottery, logos, and more. The term "Adinkra" can be translated as "goodbye" or "farewell," and traditionally, cloths adorned with Adinkra symbols were worn during funerals as a way to express various sentiments or convey messages about the deceased.
