2020-2021 Superintendent's Parent Advisory Council Application
The Richmond Public Schools Parent Advisory Council brings together 25 parents from diverse backgrounds with the administration to engage as true partners in the educational process.

All meetings will be held virtually until schools reopen, and will take place monthly during the early evening hours beginning in October. Additionally, The Parent Advisory Council’s work will focus on a variety of areas, including advocacy, family engagement, and virtual learning.

We recognize that for many of our families this is perhaps the busiest and most pressing period of your lives, and that serving on the Parent Advisory Council may be one too many commitments for you during this unprecedented time. If, however, you are willing and able to serve in this role, or know someone else who would, we ask that you please submit your application no later than Sunday, September 27th. In order to ensure both continuity in our leadership and to incorporate new perspectives, we will be selecting a mix of both returning and new members for this year’s PAC. Notifications of acceptance will be shared no later than Friday, October 9th, and our first meeting will take place in October.
