The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) received $5M to study possible solutions to the extensive elevated infrastructure of I-787, built at a time that the Hudson River was not attractive and was highly polluted, and during a period of using large transportation infrastructure to disrupt neighborhoods of color.   Albany has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reshape our community: NYS Dept. of Transportation is studying options to reshape I-787 and the riverfront. We need your help to reverse the damage I-787 did to our community and take bold steps to revitalize, reconnect, and renew Albany. What would you tell NYS DOT?
