Let’s celebrate the diversity of our school!

Culture Table: Would you like to host a table with artifacts from your favorite country, region or culture?  A tri-fold board can be used to hang posters, maps, flags, etc.  Picture books, toys, currency and other craft items can be displayed on the table.  Snack food, flag pins, candy and other small giveaways are welcome.  This is a great opportunity for Boy or Girl Scout troops to research and represent an interesting culture. Each exhibit will use a 6ft table for display. Exhibitors are encouraged to dress up with national costumes and participate in a fashion show on the stage.

Entertainment: We are looking for Flamenco dancers, Mariachi band, musicians or singers, etc. to perform on the stage. If you would like to perform or know of any performing artists, please ask them to make the SKES debut at this event.

Cuisine: Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share with other families.  Please label your dish and list the ingredients and origin. Please bring serving utensils, paper bowls/plates and plastic utensils.  Each cuisine will have a 6ft table to use for serving.

If you would like to volunteer, you can help with set-up, clean up, or be a cashier for our drink sale.  SSL hours are offered for middle school and high school helpers.

Mesa de Cultura: ¿Le gustaría organizar una mesa con artefactos de su país, región o cultura favorita? Se puede usar un tablero de tres pliegues para colgar carteles, mapas, banderas, etc. Se pueden exhibir libros ilustrados, juguetes, moneda y otros artículos de manualidades sobre la mesa. Son bienvenidos bocadillos, pines de banderas, dulces y otros obsequios pequeños. Esta es una gran oportunidad para que las tropas de Boy o Girl Scouts investiguen y representen una cultura interesante. Cada exhibición utilizará una mesa de 6 pies para la exhibición. Se alienta a los expositores a vestirse con trajes nacionales y participar en un desfile de modas en el escenario.

Animación: Buscamos bailaores flamencos, mariachis, músicos o cantantes, etc. para actuar en el escenario. Si desea actuar o conoce a algún artista, pídale que haga el debut de SKES en este evento.

Gastronomía: Se pide a los asistentes que traigan un plato para compartir con otras familias. Por favor, etiquete su plato y enumere los ingredientes y el origen. Traiga utensilios para servir, tazones/platos de papel y utensilios de plástico. Cada cocina tendrá una mesa de 6 pies para servir.

Si desea ser voluntario, puede ayudar con la instalación, la limpieza o ser cajero en nuestra venta de bebidas. Se ofrecen horas de SSL para ayudantes de escuela intermedia y secundaria.
