TOUR PRICE
The basic trip cost for a student BMB member is $2,800. The adult guest price is $350 higher. The payment plan will be in four installments: August, September, October, and November. All payments will be made to Blugold Central by cash, check, or credit card. We will send you payment instructions before the first payment is due in mid-August.
Parents/Guests/Non-Students: You have the option of arranging your own flight and meeting us in Miami. Arranging your own flight may save you enough money to negate the $350 non-student price supplement. The university will not allow students to arrange their own flights.
TOUR INCLUDES:
* Roundtrip Airfare from MSP to Miami or FLL
* Four nights in Holiday Inn Miami Beach - Oceanfront, including breakfast
* Day trip from Miami to Key West
* Day trip to Everglades NP, including airboat ride
* Complete cruise package, including all meals, taxes, port fees, gratuities, and wifi package
* All ground transportation in Miami/FLL (hotel, performance site, port, etc.)
* Equipment transportation.

Transportation to and from MSP airport

Two meals per day in Miami/FLL
Room upgrades such as single occupancy, oceanview, or balcony.

CANCELATION POLICY
The cost of the trip is divided into two parts.
Part 1 ($700 plus adult supplement if applicable) is administered by BMB. This money goes to the airfare and other expenses that we book internally. If you cancel BEFORE the ticket is issued with your name on it, you'd get 100% back. Tickets will be issued in late October and you'll plenty of warning, just before the ticketing date.
Part 2 ($2100 plus upgrades if applicable) is a travel package administered by Music Festivals and Tours. This package includes the cruise, hotel, excursions, ground transportation in Miami, performance costs, etc. The university holds a contract for this package, so I'll copy and paste the cancelation language below.
• Cancelation October 9, 2024 to November 7, 2024. A cancellation fee of $700 per person.
• Cancelation November 8, 2024 to December 7, 2024. A cancellation fee of $900 per person.
• Cancelation December 8, 2024 to date of departure. A cancellation fee of 100% of tour cost.
The cancelation policy is set by Royal Caribbean, which has a strict policy. Our reservation is a large group booking so our agent is able to negotiate with RCL within reason ... provided there aren't very many cancelations. In the past, the only people who have lost money are those who canceled very late in the process. We also recommend buying trip insurance if you believe there is a chance that you'll need to cancel late in the process.
We will provide information about travel insurance at the time of the first payment in August.
