Research in Actuarial Science
In the field of Actuarial Science, many conversations are always held around careers in insurance and pensions but little is written about the academic side of the subject. Hence, we’re happy to announce our next event ‘Research in Actuarial Science’ where we have invited Dr. George Tzougas from the Department of Statistics to share his experience on the research aspect of Actuarial Science.
The talk will answer questions such as what opportunities do postgraduate and undergraduate students have in research, what is the general career path of a researcher, what support can you get from LSE and so on. The event will also include a Q&A session so come prepared with your most burning questions!
Date: 24th February 2021, Wednesday
Time: 2:00 - 3:30pm (GMT)
Location: Zoom
The event zoom link will be emailed to you no later than two days before the event. Registrations will close once the places have been filled up, so be quick to sign up! This event is open exclusively to all LSE students.
