Bristol RAG is the fundraising arm of The University of Bristol Students’ Union. We have been raising funds for great causes for 90 years through our many events, such as RAG Week, Jailbreak, Raids, and many more.
This year, we are looking for two local charities, and one national charity. Applications close at 6pm on Sunday 10th September. They will then be shortlisted by our committee (w/c 11th September), which will then be put to a university wide vote during welcome week (18th-22nd September). The chosen charities will be informed in late September/early October.
We aim to raise as much as possible for our charities during the year. Our students are looking to do more than fundraise for you, they also want to engage with the charity, learn more about you and increase awareness of the charity amongst the student body and the wider community. We are keen to develop a strong relationship with our chosen charities. Please try to provide us with as much information as possible; this will allow us to fully appreciate the hard work of your charity as we consider you in this application process.
