YRP York Road Transportation Study Community Engagement Survey
In 2020, Sen. Mary Washington and Del. Maggie McIntosh helped York Road Partnership (YRP) successfully secure $250,000 in State funds to enable the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) to carry out a York Road Transportation Study of the commercial corridor from Lake Avenue to 42nd Street.  In order to carefully coordinate with City DOT, YRP also created a York Road Study Advisory Committee — a diverse and representative group of leaders from neighborhoods and businesses along the York Road corridor.

Over the next 6 months, the study will evaluate opportunities to improve "Complete Streets" elements on York Road, such as pedestrian safety and transit performance. There will be opportunities for public feedback at two future meetings of the York Road Partnership General meeting in May and July. The product should be a plan with strong community support that will guide investments in York Road transportation infrastructure for years to come. We welcome input from neighbors and users of York Road to prioritize areas for improvement.
