Posters - Nursing & Midwifery Innovations in Practice
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) recognises the significant contribution that nurses and midwives make to enhancing and developing the quality of care delivered to patients and service users. To showcase the innovations in practice, nurses and midwives are invited to submit a poster for presentation at the Annual Delegates Conference (ADC) on the 8th, 9th and 10th May 2019 in the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, County Meath. A prize of Euro300 will be presented for the best poster, along with runners up prizes at ADC.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE - EXTENDED to Tuesday, 30th April 2019.
NOTIFICATION OF SUCCESSFUL SUBMISSIONS

Requirements

1. Posters should be completed projects - quality improvement, organisational development, or action learning project.
2. Projects must have been carried out by a nurse or midwife or where the nurse or midwife has played a significant role in the project as part of a multidisciplinary team.
3. Posters will only be accepted from INMO members


Application Process

As part of the application process you are required to:

A) Complete all of the fields in this form, including a 250 word abstract.
Note that only the primary person submitting is required to complete the form. Section 1.10 additional names to be added and CVs should be added for each individual.
B) Submit a pdf of your poster
C) Upload a short CV for each person involved in the submission.
D) The poster should cover the following information*

Title
Why did you start? (Problem Description, Aim and Objectives)
What did you do? (Context, Intervention)
What did you find? (Results, Conclusions, Ethical Approval, Funding)
References

Accepted Posters

1) Poster should be printed as A0 in Portrait Format.
2) Posters can be hung from the 7th May after 5pm.
3) INMO will not accept responsibility for submitted posters.
4) Evaluation of the posters and the awarding of the prizes will be made during the afternoon session on Friday, 10th May 2019.

Note: Access to all personal information provided will be restricted to INMO staff processing the information and the evaluation panel members.
